AGT Labs runs a single accredited industrial hygiene laboratory in Houston and serves the wider Gulf Coast and South-Central US as a service-area lab rather than a chain of branch offices. That model matters for two reasons. First, every sample — asbestos, silica, metals, VOCs, hexavalent chromium, welding fume, mold and Legionella — is analyzed by the same accredited team under one quality system, so a result from Corpus Christi is directly comparable to one from Baton Rouge or Tulsa. Second, there are no regional labs quietly subcontracting your work; when a plant EHS manager or an abatement contractor asks who actually reads the filter, the answer is always our own AIHA-accredited lab in Houston.
Coverage is handled by logistics, not real estate. We ship pre-calibrated pumps, cassettes and sampling media to your site, your team or ours collects the samples, and they come back to Houston by same-day courier from the Houston Ship Channel metros (Pasadena, Baytown) or by overnight courier and priority freight from the Golden Triangle, Corpus Christi, the Permian Basin, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Turnaround is quoted from the moment samples reach the lab, and rush and same-day analytical options are available when a turnaround, a clearance or a compliance deadline can't wait. Water samples work the same way: refineries, petrochemical plants and large facilities across every one of these areas run cooling towers, so Legionella culture ships in on the same courier runs as the air cassettes — though culture sets its own pace once it reaches us, at 10 days standard. Do you have offices in these cities and states?
No. AGT Labs operates one accredited laboratory in Houston and serves these areas as a service-area lab. We do not run branch offices in Louisiana, the Permian Basin, Oklahoma, Arkansas or the other Texas metros listed — we ship kits to your site and receive samples by courier, so you get one consistent accredited industrial hygiene result no matter where the sampling happens.
How fast is turnaround from my area?
Turnaround is measured from when samples arrive at the Houston lab, not from when they're collected. From the Houston Ship Channel metros (Pasadena, Baytown) samples reach us the same day by courier; from the Golden Triangle, Corpus Christi, the Permian Basin, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas they typically arrive overnight. Standard, rush and same-day analytical options are available — tell us your deadline and we'll confirm what's achievable for your location.
Are your accreditations valid outside Texas?
Yes. Our national accreditations — AIHA-LAP for industrial hygiene, NVLAP for asbestos (PLM/PCM/TEM) and ISO/IEC 17025 — apply to the analysis wherever the samples are collected, because the work is performed at our Houston lab. Location pages outside Texas show only these national accreditations; the Texas pages additionally reference Texas state programs where relevant. Some states license the on-site inspector or abatement contractor separately from the analyzing lab — we're glad to clarify what applies in your state.
Do you supply the pumps, kits and sampling media?
Yes. We ship pre-calibrated sampling pumps, filter cassettes, sorbent tubes and the right media for your target analytes, along with chain-of-custody paperwork and instructions. If your own team is collecting, we scope the kit for your hazards before it ships; if you'd prefer field collection support, ask and we'll advise on options for your area.
