AGT Labs provides nationwide industrial hygiene testing through ship-in sample analysis — you don't have to be in Texas to use us. Collect your own sample with media we ship to you, send it to our Houston TX laboratory, and get accredited results back from anywhere in the United States. Regional on-site CIH sampling and courier pickup are available in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, but lab analysis itself has no geographic limit.

Ship-In Lab Analysis
You (or your consultant) collect the sample using media we send you, then ship it to our Houston laboratory. All accredited analysis happens in-house here, regardless of where the sample came from.

On-Site Sampling & Courier Pickup
A physical visit from an AGT Labs Certified Industrial Hygienist, or same-day courier pickup of your samples, requires our technicians or a courier route to reach you in person.

How Ship-In Testing Works
Request a Kit
Call or submit a quote request with the analyte and method you need. Allow 5 business days for kit shipment.
Collect Your Sample
Follow the field instructions included with your kit — cassette, filter, wipe, or bulk collection depending on analyte.
Ship to Houston
Use the pre-paid return label to ship via UPS. Received before 2:00 PM CST = same-day log-in.
Accredited Analysis
Your sample is analyzed in-house under AIHA IHLAP, ISO/IEC 17025:2017, NVLAP, or PJLA accreditation as applicable.
Results by Portal
Download your accredited report through our secure client portal — standard or rush, depending on the option selected.

A Small Number of States Have Their Own Certification Rules
Why this matters, and how it affects you
AGT Labs' core accreditations — AIHA IHLAP, ISO/IEC 17025:2017, NVLAP, and PJLA — are national marks of laboratory competence. They are not restricted by the state a sample originates from, so ship-in analysis under these accreditations is available from anywhere in the U.S.
A small number of states run their own environmental lab certification programs and require any laboratory — including out-of-state labs like ours — to hold that state's own specific certification before accepting samples collected there. This applies most often to asbestos analysis.
If you're shipping from a state you're unsure about, contact us before sending your sample — we'll confirm whether your state has this requirement for your specific analyte, and if we can't accept it directly, we'll tell you plainly rather than take the sample and delay your results.
