Implement them and you're covered.

But three common situations push you into mandatory objective air monitoring: the task isn't listed on Table 1; the specified control can't be fully implemented on your site; or you want to verify your controls are actually holding exposures below the 50 µg/m³ PEL. What silica method do you use for construction samples?
Respirable crystalline silica by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) per NIOSH 7500 and OSHA ID-142 — our AIHA IHLAP-accredited method. XRD quantifies quartz, cristobalite, and tridymite separately, which matters where cutting, grinding, and demolition can generate more than one polymorph. FTIR (NIOSH 7602) is available in-house but is not within our AIHA IHLAP scope, so we recommend XRD for accredited compliance reporting.
Do you support OSHA Table 1 compliance?
Yes. If you fully implement the engineering controls in OSHA 1926.1153 Table 1 for a matched task, you're exempt from baseline air monitoring. When a control can't be fully implemented, the task isn't on Table 1, or you want to verify controls are working, our accredited XRD personal monitoring documents compliance with the 50 µg/m³ PEL and 25 µg/m³ Action Level.
